You have seen the websites with the blue banner and the logo in the corner. The problem is the logo in the corner has a white box around it. This looks terrible, but what can we do. The only logo file you have of your logo is a JPG file with the logo in a white box.
With the proper type of logo files, you can create any document and produce whatever you like online. Whoever designs your logo, can easily do this for you.
You are even going to need your logo in different layouts. You will need one that is laid out in landscape so that you can use it in a banner or landscape mode. You will definitely need one with a transparent background. A transparent background would eliminate the white box around your logo in the blue banner.

File types needed for your logos
Vectors type files are the best quality. Vector logos are able to be used at whatever size you need them. They give you the best quality for any print material you are creating from tracts and banners to online designs.
You will want to ask your designer for the following file types:
Keep a master file
Create a master file of all of your logos. Also, put the master file on a thumb drive or cd that you do not use. You must make sure you never lose any of your logo file types.
Then create a general logo file. Make a copy of each file and put those files in here. This is a very important step. It is so easy to copy a logo to someone and by mistake you gave it to him and lost your copy. You might delete one by mistake. Files can get corrupted. This is why you never use the master logo file for general use.
