Landing pages or sometimes call “Splash Pages’ are standalone pages that are used to attract someone to a webpage for a specific purpose. For example, you could have a Teen Camp landing page where the teens could register for camp. You could have a Christmas Cantata Landing page where guests could register to come to the cantata.
 
Standalone pages do not have menus to other pages and therefore you can only have information on the one page.
 
Every landing page you have has a unique URL that can be shared or promoted.

• You can do all of this for free in Mailchimp. However, if you would like one contact list (called and audience in Mailchimp) on your landing page you will have to create a new Mailchimp Account for this page. You are only allowed one contact list per free page.

 
 II.    URL’s

•  Mailchimp will give you a free URL. However, if you have a free account, your URL will not be a simple URL code. For example, it will look like https://mailchi.mp/d5e6ab2b5ed0/churchnamecaresaboutyou
• Even with a paid Mailchimp account, your URL will start with “https://mailchi.mp.” Therefore, if you want a custom site name such as churchnamecaresaboutyou.org, you will need to register a domain name. This only costs about $15 per year.
